何謂 NSDA?

何謂NSDA(National Speech & Debate Association)?

國際辯論協會（NSDA）成立於1925年，是一個無黨派、非盈利性的教育榮譽學會。在美國，這是一個歷史最悠久、規模最大且最具知名的演講與辯論協會。他們的國際性錦標賽也是世界上最大的。到2023年，擁有學校會員3,403所，學生會員134,615人； 3,932名教練員； 和200萬鋁。

NSDA 會友在美國具有知名的聲望和影響力，如:最高法院大法官Sonia Sotomayor、Stephen Breyer和Samuel Alito;富見識的媒體Oprah Winfrey和Ted Turner;演員Brad Pitt及Renee Zellweger;電視明星Stephen Colbert、Tom Lennon;與參議員Senators Richard Lugar、Russ Feingold和 William Frist。

國際性的演講比賽自1931年起已連續舉辦（除二次世界大戰期間外），NSDA鼓勵學生們藉由參與比賽來獎賞學生NSDA點數、授予級別以追求進步。 NSDA點數受到美國大學高度的尊重與認可，且統計數據顯示，NSDA學生在班上是前5％的學生，在所有的標準化測驗裡，如:SAT，具有更好的表現，並有22％較高的機會被美國頂尖大學所接受。美國錦標賽舉辦下列項目：
